Event Description:

The YSIG Mini-Conference focuses on children and teen services in libraries. Connect with fellow professionals, hear from expert speakers, and get the latest summer reading insights. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, collaborate, and speak new ideas.

      9-10 am     Welcome, Business Meeting (Introduce co-chairs, adopt YSIG guidelines), Ice Breaker

      10-10:15 am Break

      10:15-12 pm Joanne Pruitt, Youth Services Consultant, State Library      (Introduction, CSLP, Go WYLD, Giveaways, Scavenger Hunt)

      1:15-2 pm   Youth Mental Health Speaker (How youth services professionals   can help kids in these troubled times)

      3-4 pm      Sit Means Sit Therapy Dogs (How a therapy dog is trained and    how to use them in your library)
