JANUARY 1, 2023 - NEW DUES STRUCTURE
At the Wyoming Library Association's annual meeting on September 29, 2022, the membership approved a proposal to update our dues structure. The approved changes below will go into effect on January 1, 2023 and only apply to Active Members.
Dues and Donations
Membership dues must be paid in full at the time election ballots are distributed in order to vote, and/or to receive the member registration rate for the annual conference.

Types of Memberships
DUES STRUCTURE CHANGING JANUARY 1, 2023 FOR ACTIVE MEMBERS
Active Membership (Voting)
Examples of this membership category:
Dues for active memberships are based on salary: $1 per $1,000 salary, plus $10 for those who make over $20,000 per year. For those who make under $20,000 per year, membership is $20 per year.
Intellectual Freedom Membership (Non-Voting)
Preferred dues are $3,000 per year. Organizations may contact the WLA President to make alternate arrangements, if needed.
Associate Membership (Non-Voting)
Associate membership is available to any individual not employed by a library who is interested in library work and the objectives of WLA. Examples of this membership category:
Dues for associate memberships are $8 per year.
Institutional Membership (Non-Voting)Includes free membership for board members. Does not provide institutional employees with personal membership privileges.
Dues for institutional memberships are $150 per year, which includes complimentary membership for your board.
