This month's additions include:

FRBR: A guide for the perplexed
Cataloging expert Maxwell offers clear concise explanations for every librarian interested in the next phase of access to their library's digital information. He answers such questions as: What is FRBR and how does it work?, How will FRBR affect libraries?, Do all librarians need to be concerned, or just those doing cataloging?, and How do authority records fit into the picture?

Learn Dewey Decimal Classification
This combined text and workbook covers the theories and principles of Dewey Decimal Classification and then offers readers immediate practice in putting the information to use. Plentiful, clear explanations, examples and practice exercises illustrate every aspect of Dewey Decimal Classification and help students master creating DDC numbers.

Sex, brains, and video games: A librarian's guide to teens in the twenty-first century
Putting this research in the context of library services, she challenges librarians to question their assumptions about teen patrons and provide new answers based on research finding. Much like early literacy research informed library services to youngest patrons, this provocative book outlines what others who work with adolescents have learned from their professional activities and how that knowledge can encourage new priorities and partnerships in youth services.

Using interactive technologies in libraries
This cutting-edge guide provides practical advice, detailed examples, implementation ideas, and helpful forecasts for the future roles of four major interactive technologies. Librarians will find helpful information on: using Real Simple Syndication (RSS) for providing data based on disciplinary interests and across vendor platforms; developing Wikis as a replacement for static HTML pages to provide greater currency in subject guides; etc.

SPI (DVD): Successful partnership investigation
SPI: Successful Partnership Investigation follows a highly-skilled team of partnership investigators as they travel the country to find successful library partnerships. The team visits the Boulder Public Library, Laramie County Library System, Baltimore County Public Library, Middle Country Library System, and Harford County Public Library to learn how they created successful partnerships.
