Searching statewide databases using the new 360 Federated Search

Good morning,

The State Library is pleased to announce the release of 360 Search from
Serials Solutions for federated searching of statewide and free resources.
 As an initial step, a search form appears on the main databases page at
http://gowyld.net/dbases.cfm  

This form will launch a search in three of the most popular statewide
products, Academic Search Elite, Wilson OmniFile, and SIRS Researcher. 
Subsequent searches may then be done using any of the options available in
360 Search.  Databases (aka search targets) are listed both alphabetically
and grouped by subject.

It is important to note that this 360 Search implementation ONLY targets
those resources that are A) compatible with federated searching; B)
Available as statewide resources; C) are free for use, such as GPO Access.

Users who are in authenticated sites will have direct access to 360. 
Anyone accessing the service from home or other location considered
remote, will need to first authenticate to our proxy server with a valid
WYLD library card and PIN.
