[WLA-All] New York Times Reporter Matthew Wald to Speak at UW

The New York Times and University Libraries have teamed-up to bring New
York Times Reporter Matthew L. Wald to the University of Wyoming-October
2nd at 4 p.m. in the Wyoming Union's Yellowstone Ballroom. 

 

Matthew Wald's talk, "The Energy Race: We have too much carbon, not
enough petroleum and a vampire sucking juice from every power outlet.
What do we do?" will be followed by a reception. Mr. Wald has been
writing about energy for The New York Times since the oil crisis of
1979.  He is based in Washington, where he also writes about various
aspects of technology. Admission is free.
