The final College of DuPage Library Challenges & Opportunities satellite broadcast and webcast is scheduled for Friday, May 11.

The Relevance of Libraries in a Digital Age
May 11, 10:00 - 11:30 am
James Neal, Barbara Jones, Susan Kent & Bob Doyle
The digital age has been with us long enough to make some practical predictions of how traditional roles of libraries will change in information selection, acquisition, synthesis, navigation, dissemination, interpretation and archiving. New responsibilities in information aggregation, publishing education, research and development and policy advocacy will be explored.

Wyoming libraries and librarians can participate in the teleconference at no cost, but must register with BCR: http://www.bcr.org/training/teleconferences/register.html

This teleconference, along with other continuing education opportunities, is listed on the Wyoming Libraries Planning Calendar: http://will.state.wy.us/ldo/planningcalendar.html

Let me know if you have any questions!
