Prescription for Success: Consumer Health Information on the Web
This hands-on intro to consumer health information covers 
information-seeking behaviors of consumers, basics of 
MedlinePlus.gov, and other reliable web pages. It provides resources 
to answer consumer health questions about specific 
diseases/conditions, drugs, and herbs.
Class participants will receive 3 hours of continuing education 
credit from the Medical Library Association (MLA). This course is on 
the list of approved courses for the MLA Consumer Health 
Specialization Program (http://www.mlanet.org/education/chc/index.html).
