[WLA-All] Bylaws change proposal coming to WLA conference

Dear Colleagues:  Email allows me to let you know ahead of time that I
plan to introduce a Wyoming Library Association Bylaws change at the
opening session of the conference in Gillette.  Bylaws say that such an
amendment can be introduced and can be adopted if voted upon by 100% of
those in attendance (Section XIV - Amendments).  My amendment is to
change Article XI, Section I Program Council from its current structure
to a Conference Planning Committee appointed by the President of the
Association. I believe that this change is valuable for membership and
conference value.

I am attaching a copy in Word of the section with deletions in stricken
red and new wording in blue.  Notes at the end of the document will
hopefully assist you in understanding the amendment.   I look forward to
discussion at the opening session.  Jerry
