[WLA-All] 2007 WLA Legislative Reception is February 8th

The 2007 Wyoming Library Association Legislative Reception is set for
Thursday February 8th 2007 at the Plains Hotel in Cheyenne.
 
This is an annual event where we meet and greet and promote library
issues with our Wyoming state legislators through the provision of our
own wonderfully tasty homemade food.  Put the date on your calenders and
start thinking about which one of your favorite recipes would be most
enjoyed by our hard working legislators.
 
At this time I'd like to hear from WLA members who would like to
volunteer to assist in planning and hosting the reception as part of the
Legislative Reception Committee.  I have been the chair for a couple of
years now and would also be happy to turn the chair responsibilities
over to someone else if anyone is interested in taking on this
perennially successful and fun event.  It is helpful if you live in
Cheyenne or nearby but not an essential part of membership on the
committee.  Ideally we would like to have input from WLA members from
all Wyoming communities.  We will do most of our planning and meeting
after Christmas.
