Just a friendly reminder......

If you have not booked your room for Gillette at the Clarion Inn - the block 
ends AUG. 26TH.  They will release the rooms after that date.  The rates are 
$64.99, plus tax for single, double, triple or quad.   The phone # is:  (307) 
686-3000.  There is still room in the block,  I just talked to them.  Gillette 
fills up FAST, so please don't wait until the last minute.  You can always 
cancel your room if you can't come.  We encourage our members to stay at the host 
hotel.  WLA will get comp rooms to use for speakers, based on rooms used.  

Also, the BEST RATE for WLA registration ends August 28th.  Your registration 
must be postmarked by that date for BEST RATE.  

I've already had a few questions on Board/Trustee members.  They need to 
register as either a member (if they are one) or a non-member, just like all 
registrants.  We do charge for Board/Trustee members.  If they come for one day, 
then they will register accordingly.  They are not considered guests.  The guest 
fees are reserved for spouses or friends that have no affiliation with a 
library.   

I hope you all had a terrific summer and look forward to seeing you in 
Gillette.  The Program Council has planned a wonderful conference.
